What is Vegan Food?
Vegan food does not contain animal meat or animal products. You won’t find beef, chicken, pork, fish, eggs, milk, cream, butter, beef / chicken stock, fish sauce, or other animal & dairy products in vegan food. Some vegans also avoid honey – but this is not a universal truth.

Tips for Cooking Vegan
- Unfamiliar with vegan cooking? We strongly recommend following a simple, easy, vegan recipe. There are tons of easy-to-make vegan recipes available online, and you can typically find all of the ingredients at your local grocery store.
- Vegan cooking doesn’t have to be fancy! A side of veggies is perfectly suited for a potluck. Go easy on yourself, and make something that doesn’t require too much effort.
- While it may be tempting to do so, we do not recommend adapting a non-vegan recipe for vegans – especially if this is one of your first times cooking vegan.
